Completed schooling from Atul Vidyalaya, Atul (ICSE–ISC Board), followed by an M.B.B.S. from B.J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, and an M.D. in Pathology from C.U. Shah Medical College, Surendranagar.
Family belongs to a well-educated, cultured, and respected family with strong values and close-knit relationships. Family consists of father, an M.D. in Medicine and a practicing physician with his own hospital in Valsad, Gujarat; mother, a Homemaker. Both are originally from Saurashtra and have been settled in Valsad for more than 35 years. One elder brother is an M.Tech. Engineer, well settled in the USA, married to a Physical Therapist, and blessed with a son.
